I loved that this book was clear, concise, and to the point, just like a great presentation should be! If you follow the guidelines in this book, you will set yourself up for success in any presentation you are giving, including Zoom calls or webinars. It is a quick read, if you read it all at once, however it is also an excellent resource to keep on hand to use as a checklist before any presentation. I'm going to keep this book on hand as I design all my future presentations. I'm passionate about speaking and sharing my ideas, but now I realize I've been guilty of some of the death-by-powerpoint sins listed in this book. I'm so grateful to have found this amazing resource, and to be able to implement it immediately to make my presentations so much better. The book "How to NOT Suck at Presentations" would easily cure the "boring" disease that is so rampant in companies. The author does an excellent job of explaining what to do, what to wear, what time of day, what to bring, how to stand, etc. It's a comprehensive guide written in easily understood examples. This book kept me engaged, nodding my head, and laughing out loud. I loved the C3PO example in chapter 2, I'm a "guide" type of person and when a system of understanding is broken down into an acronym or steps, it makes it easier for me to remember and implement. I also appreciated the rehearsal checklist...again with lists for me to make sure I have everything covered. Fran has an amazing delivery that makes you feel she is right there talking to you. I want to meet her and go to one of her programs! And I totally learned from this book and feel my programs will be better because of it. thank you Fran.
